Khalid is a licensed lawyer in the Province of Ontario. He holds a certificate of accreditation from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, an Honours LL.B from the University of Sussex and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto 

Experience

Prior to being called to the Bar, Khalid has worked with Private and public insitutions, such as TD Bank, The Provincial Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada.

Khalid represented Canada at the World Trade Organization as an Ambassador to the 2030 Trade Forum, under the Young Diplomats of Canada Mission. He coordinated bi-lateral meetings with delegations at the WTO, pertaining to market access to Canada, and market access for Canadian companies abroad.

While at the United Nations, Khalid lobbied for administrative changes in the UN Dispute Tribunal and UN Appeals Tribunal. His proposed amendments successfully made its way through to the UN's 6th Committee as he worked alongside diplomats and UN management. 

Khalid has advised his clients on a range of immigration, international trade and mining law matters. He is appointed as in house counsel with a Canadian Global Trading House, and with a Toronto cross-provincial and international transportation business. 

Irina is a licensed lawyer in the Province of Ontario and Russia. She holds a certificate of accreditation from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, a Global Professional Master of Law from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Civil Law from Perm State University.

Experience

Irina assists both corporations and individuals with their immigration-related matters.

In her corporate immigration practice, Irina helps businesses with LMIA applications, intra-company transfers, and other pathways to bring international talent to Canada. 

She also works with start-up business owners to allow them to come to Canada to manage their businesses and subsequently secure permanent residence. 

For individual clients, she assists with both temporary and permanent residency matters, helping those abroad to come to Canada as visitors, obtain study permits, or secure work authorizations. 

She also advises individuals on permanent residency options, including economic immigration, family reunification, and humanitarian and compassionate pathways.

Irina has over 7 years of experience in various law clerk positions at leading Canadian immigration law firms, including Fragomen Canada and Deloitte, and completed her articling at Abramovich & Tchern, a boutique immigration law firm in Toronto. Irina is fluent in English and Russian languages.

Almas Bibi is licensed as a lawyer in Ontario, Canada and New York, USA. She is currently based in Toronto, Ontario, but practices both U.S. and Canadian law. Almas is licensed as a Foreign Legal Consultant, by the Law Society of Ontario, to practice U.S. law in Canada. She holds a B.A from the University of BC and a J.D from the University of Ottawa.

Almas’ practice is focused primarily on Canadian and U.S. immigration law. She has several years of experience representing corporate and individual clients in a variety of immigration matters.

Almas worked at large international law firms in both Toronto and New York. She regularly represented clients in all manner of immigration and corporate matters including contract drafting and review, as well as corporate immigration, study permits, permanent residence, family sponsorship applications and inadmissibility issues.transportation business.

Yelda Anwari is a licensed lawyer in the Province of Ontario. She holds a  Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from the University of Calgary and a JD from Thompson Rivers University in BC. 

Experience

Yelda relocated to Toronto where she then completed her articles with  immigration law firm Grice & Associates. Yelda was called to the Ontario Bar in September of 2019 and continues to be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

Yelda’s practice focuses exclusively in the area of Canadian immigration and refugee law.  She has successfully represented her clients at the Immigration and Refugee Board along with the Federal Court. She also works with clients seeking permanent residency, pre-removal risk assessments, humanitarian and compassionate protection applications, spousal sponsorships, and has also represented clients who have been subject to removal orders.

Wilson is a legal expert in infrastructure, commercial law, and investment structuring, with broad experience advising on public-private partnerships, fiduciary frameworks, and cross-border transactions in the Dominican Republic. He has contributed to shaping national policy, including the Public-Private Partnership Law. 

As a Chevening Scholar with a Master’s in Infrastructure Investment and Finance from University College London (UCL), he brings a global perspective to legal and financial strategy. His practice spans infrastructure development, international arbitration, foreign investment, and procurement advisory helping both public institutions and private ventures navigate complex legal environments and align with global best practices. He works at the intersection of regulatory reform and commercial innovation to enable high-impact, future-ready projects.
