Experience
Prior to being called to the Bar, Khalid has worked with Private and public insitutions, such as TD Bank, The Provincial Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada.
Khalid represented Canada at the World Trade Organization as an Ambassador to the 2030 Trade Forum, under the Young Diplomats of Canada Mission. He coordinated bi-lateral meetings with delegations at the WTO, pertaining to market access to Canada, and market access for Canadian companies abroad.
While at the United Nations, Khalid lobbied for administrative changes in the UN Dispute Tribunal and UN Appeals Tribunal. His proposed amendments successfully made its way through to the UN's 6th Committee as he worked alongside diplomats and UN management.
Khalid has advised his clients on a range of immigration, international trade and mining law matters. He is appointed as in house counsel with a Canadian Global Trading House, and with a Toronto cross-provincial and international transportation business.
